Georgia House passes bill for proposed East Cobb cityhood
WSBTV: Another opponent, Democratic Rep. Teri Anulewicz, said the proposal to provide fire services could endanger the excellent fire rating the area now enjoys as part of Cobb County.
“Residents need to be able to enter into the creation of a city with their eyes wide open,” said Anulewicz, a former Smyrna City Council member. “This city is being rushed.”
Anti-vaccination bill in Georgia Senate, impact on schools
11 ALIVE: "I was aghast. I was horrified," Rep. Teri Anulewicz (D-Smyrna) said when she first saw the bill.
The bill states “no (government) agency shall require proof of any vaccination of any person," including public school districts.
"I was very concerned to see this legislation that would completely take vaccines out of our schools," Rep. Anulewicz said.
